We strive to protect the environment in all of our processes and we are continually developing ways to improve our sustainability while reducing our carbon footprint. It is our priority to encourage our customers and suppliers to do the same.
Here are some of the key initiatives to help achieve this:
- We use renewable and recyclable RAW materials where possible.
- All products sold as FSC® certified (FSC – C121804), will have been manufactured using material with an FSC mix of 70%. Everything we produce is 100% recyclable.
- All pre-consumer waste generated in the production process is collected and sent for recycling.
- We have a 100kW solar PeV system installed which generates roughly 25% of our energy consumption.
- LED lighting is used throughout the facility, thereby reducing our overall energy usage.
- We actively encourage the use of hybrid or fully electric cars and all future company-operated vehicles (currently excluding commercial vehicles) will be either fully electric or hybrid.
- Waste flexo ink is collected and re-used within our own ink mixing facility.
- Ensure continuous improvement with regards to noise and light pollution, reducing any impact to the local community caused by our manufacturing processes.
As a business, we will continue to improve our environmental efficiency in key areas.
